Karachi traffic plan for 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal issued

Summary Karachi Traffic Police has issued its traffic plan for 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal processions. Several main roads of the city will be unavailable for the traffic due to the processions of 12th Rabi-ul-Awwal.

Four small and three big processions will be taken out from various areas of the city at the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Three big processions from Kakri Ground and New Memon Masjid will move on their assigned route to reach their destination. The Roads coming from Lee Market Karachi, Aagra Taj and Kharadar will be blocked to stream line the procession of Kakri Ground. The Streets and roads adjacent to the procession-rout will also be blocked. Nishtar Road, Sharae Liaquat, Preedy Street and MA Jinnah Road will be used as alternatives for the traffic.Karachi traffic police deployed its 800 personnel at the procession-route and alternative roads. The vehicles wants to join the procession will be given special stickers for participation.
