KARACHI (Dunya News)- Imran Khan and Nawaz Sharif, two politicians who stand at opposite poles on almost all issues, have been sharing a similar fate in current political spectrum as disqualification under article-62 and 63 continues to hover over them, prophesied senior anchorperson and renowned analyst Kamran Khan in Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath.

“Questions have been raised over money trail submitted by Imran Khan in SC and PTI chief would be in hot water if his counsel fails in satisfying the apex court,” predicts Kamran Khan.

While shedding light on the current political situation, senior PPP leader Khurshid Shah stated that Imran Khan would be disqualified if Supreme Court disqualifies Nawaz Sharif.

“Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan have put axe on their own foots as later has used artice-62, 63 as buttress to dethrone Nawaz Sharif and same has been used as canon by ruling party to teach a lesson to PTI chief,” said Khurshid Shah.

While keeping verbal onslaught up against opponents, Shad urged all stakeholders to let system work.

“Such moves will only derail system and bring miseries for democracy. We have not learnt a lesson from history. During our (PPP’s) tenure, all stakeholders were on the same page,” professed Shah.

Responding to a question on Iqama issue, Shah termed non-declaration of iqama a punishable offense.

“A mistake has been committed by us (political parties) by talking problems out of parliament. SC’s judges would make decision in accordance with law, constitution,” said Shah.
