Summary The leaders of PML Q and MQM met in Lahore. Both the parties agreed upon increasing their political cooperation.
The 15 member delegation of MQM under the leadership of Dr. Farooq Sattar met with Chaudhry Shujaat Husain and Chaudhry Pervez Elahi. Babur Ghauri, Raza Haroon, Wasay Jalil Mansoor Qamar and other officials were also present in the meeting.Chaudhry Pervez Elahi said that MQM is an effective political power in the country. MQM officials said that Chaudhry Shujaat Husain is seeking to solve the country’s problems through political reconciliation. They said that MQM appreciates the leadership role PML Q is playing in an effort to unite all political powers in the country. Chaudhry Shujaat said that hosting the MQM delegation meeting was an honor.
