Summary The district coordination officer Lahore has said that one month is required to remove the debris of Bahria Centre of the Shah Alam Market Lahore.

Bahria Centre building had caught fire on Monday morning and the building remained ablaze for more than 30 hours. The fire did not only collapse the building but also damaged the adjacent residential and commercial buildings. The DCO said that the city administration did not have the equipment required to remove the debris so that people buried under the rubble could be recovered.The relatives of the buried expressed their disappointment at the government’s failure in removing the debris. They said that they were losing hopes of the recovery of their dear ones.
