Summary US Consulate has decided to fully defend Raymond Davis in the court and a penal of senior lawyers would also be constituted in this regard. A local court in Lahore had ordered to submit Rs 1 lakh bail money for bail of Raymond Davis in illegal arms case, however, Davis has not yet submitted the money. On this, he would be presented in the court on February 17.
On the other hand, US consulate has decided to form a penal of senior lawyers because Davis was not given impunity yet. The penal will defend Raymond in the court. In this regard, senior lawyers Ashtar Ausaaf, Hassam Qadir and Azam Nazir Tarar are in consultation with US Consulate.
