Summary Port Qasim Authority has approved raised the salaries of the employees up to 50% by approving ad hoc allowance for grade 1 to 22. The notification of the raise has been issued by the Finance Ministry. This will effect from July 1, 2010.

The notification of the raise has been issued by the Finance Ministry. This will effect from July 1, 2010.Secretary of Port Qasim Authority Muhiuddin said that the notification of Finance Ministry has been received by the authority and it will be implemented within 2 days.It is worth mentioning that the 50% raise in salaries was approved in Federal Budget 2010 but the Port Qasim Authority employees have been deprived of this for last 7 months.PQA and the Port & Shipping Ministry recommended the raise in the salaries and Finance ministry issued the notification in this regard.
