MULTAN (Dunya News) – Several houses were evacuated on Tuesday as a mobil oil factory on Vihari Road caught fire and was seen fuming within minutes.
Rescue teams launched an operation and dispatched at least eight tenders to counter the blaze.
In addition to evacuation of several houses in the vicinity, shops were also shut. No casualties were reported until filing of this report.
It has also been reported that the fire has also engulfed the nearby houses.
The rescue officials revealed that it will take at least three to four hours for the fire to get extinguished.
Apart from the firefighters, huge numbers of ambulances were also rushed to the factory.
The power supply has also been shut down in the nearby areas.
Meanwhile, fire tenders have also been called from Vehari, Muzaffargarh and Khanewal.
