LAHORE (Dunya News)- Inquiry commission, constituted by Lahore High Court (LHC) Chief Justice (CJ) Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, on Tuesday has submitted report terming Dunya News’s findings pertaining to largest land scam in the history of Pakistan true.
LHC CJ, in an interim order, has instructed to shift all the cases to one court.
According to details, largest land scam in Pakistan’s history is moving towards its logical end as courts’ proceedings across Punjab into fake courts’ verdicts has been halted.
Furthermore, LHC CJ instructed civil judges to finish proceedings into the pending cases within span of three months and to launch criminal proceedings against culprit involved.
The hearing was adjourned after LHC CJ approved suggestions put forward by inquiry commission.
It is pertinent here to mention that Dunya News has unearthed the biggest land scandal of 193,000 kanal land grabbed through verdicts of fake courts, lawyers, judges and witnesses.
The heinous crime was taken place in the presence of police and anti-corruption cell but no one from the authorities took any action to stop it.Taking advantage of government officials’ negligence, fraudulent groups prepared bogus documents over the night claiming the ownership of respective lands.
Resident of Lahore’s Samanabad area, Chaudhry Arshad was found prime suspect as he started this trick some 14 years ago by providing fake documents showing proprietary rights of the fraud groups.
