Summary Milk price has increased to Rs 90 per liter in Karachi.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Defying Karachi Commissioner’s directives, dairy farmers in the metropolis have increased milk price by 6 rupees per liter.
Resultantly, the retail price of milk has increased to Rs 90 per liter.
According to dairy farmers, they could not continue supplying milk on the prices fixed by the government.
They claimed that the commissioner of Karachi in March 2016 forced them to sign notification that ordered to sell milk at Rs80.
