GHOTKI (Dunya News) - A wedding ceremony on Saturday became subject of an awkward situation when bride along with her relatives fled from the village before arrival of baraat.
The strange incident occured in town named as Ghulam Qadir Laghari; a suburb village of Tehsil Daharki.
Reportedly, Bilawal Leghari’s sister Rubina had married the bride’s brother Ejaz in a traditional ’watta satta’ ceremony 15 years ago when his nikah took place with Parveen.
Few days before baraat, bride’s family demanded that another marriage between the two families take place.
The bride and her family escaped the village from the backdoor of their house when both sides failed to reach any agreement.
Hapless groom staged protest in front of bride’s house, stating that he would not leave without his better half.
