PAKPATTAN: (Dunya News) – Facebook has worked again. A Chinese woman came to Pakistan, embraced Islam, was named Ayesha and married to a Pakistani man on Wednesday, reported Dunya News.
The Chinese woman, formerly named Li Yu Cian had become friends with Shafique initially on Facebook. Later, the friendship turned into love and she finally arrived in Pakpattan to marry Shafique, after embracing Islam and named Ayesha.
Pak-China friendship is known for its depths deeper than Arabian Sea and heights higher than Himalayas but after China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), this friendship is fast turning into love too.
One such example is this Chinese woman who is now Ayesha and married to Shafique in small Pakistani town of Pakpattan.
