Ahsan Iqbal demands Imran to 'let' country progress

Summary Transparency International acknowledged better administration in Pakistan, says the federal minister

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Reforms, Ahsan Iqbal has demanded Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan to not halt country’s development.

In his statement, Iqbal said that Imran Khan thinks of himself an angel and that that the kind of politics he conducts would help Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) win General Elections 2018.

While talking about Panama Leaks case being heard by Supreme Court (SC) on daily basis, Iqbal said that Khan wants to have the top court give a verdict of his choice on ‘gunpoint’. The government is focusing on economic progress and policies are needed to be maintained, he said.

The federal minister said that Transparency International acknowledged better administration in Pakistan.

He also talked about China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and said that the project has deprived Pakistan’s enemies of their sleep.
