Summary Sindh Health Minister claimed that there are 69 AIDS patients in Karachi
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Health Minister of Sindh Dr. Sikandar Mahindro revealed in Sindh Assembly on Wednesday that over 3900 people were reported with HIV-positive in Karach alone, reported Dunya News.
The city is facing an adverse situation when it comes to AIDS which is acquired immune deficiency syndrome. It is a disease in which there is a severe loss of the body s cellular immunity, greatly lowering the resistance to infection and malignancy.
A total of 3952 people were diagnosed with HIV-positive in Karachi city which is the provincial capital of Sindh. However, there are only 69 patients of AIDS in the city.
