ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Additional Sessions Judge, Raja Khurram and his wife, Maheen have denied torturing Tayyaba, a minor girl who worked at their residence in capacity of a maid.
In statements recorded before the police, the couple has denied subjecting the minor maid to torture. According to the statement, the judge has branded the issue a conspiracy against him as he has given verdicts in several sensitive cases and mafias are framing him.
He asserted that Tayyaba was taken in to look after his one and a half years old son from through a woman named Nadra in October 2016.
The additional sessions judge has maintained that Tayyaba was treated as member of the family.
Maheen, in her statement stated that she is mother to three children and she could not have thought to torture Tayyaba in any case. Tayyaba went missing on December 27 17 days after she contacted Maria Hayat, a minor girl who worked in the neighbourhood.
She was recovered on December 28 and bore torture marks, Maheen has claimed.
According to her statement, Maria Hayat uploaded Tayyaba’s pictures on social media and framed the couple for it.
Maheen has claimed that the tortured minor stated that she fell on stairs.
