KARACHI (Dunya News) – A briefing was given by President of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain on Green Line Bus Project in Governor House Karachi on Saturday, reported Dunya News.

The session was attended by Chief Minister of Sindh Murad Ali Shah as well as the provincial Minister of Transport Nasir Hussain.

The occasion witnessed President Mamnoon Hussain in which he claimed, “More projects like Green Line Bus are required for the city which will prove vital”. “I have talked to the Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif on this matter as well”, he added.

The president went on to say that the population of Karachi is increasing with great pace. More than five hundred slums have erupted and the city is facing an immense number of problems.

“Those who criticise the Metro Bus should talk sensibly”, he suggested. He went on to reconcile that he had himself traveled in the Metro Bus in Islamabad.

After the session ended, he had a brief moment with media reporters while saying, “I had myself decided to give a briefing on Green Line Bus”. On a question, he replied that the Green Line Project will prove vital for the provincial capital city.

When the reporters asked him about the absence of Sindh Governor Justice (R) Saeed-uz-Zaman at media briefing, he responded, “Anyone can get sick by disease”. On a lighter note, he mentioned that he had yesterday celebrated his 76th birthday but can still work far more than any youngster.
