Summary More than 50 people were injured after fog became dense in major parts of Punjab

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Deadly fog in Punjab once again becomes cause of traffic accidents. Sheikhupura and Sukheki Road comprising of route to Sangla Hill from Sialkot witnessed lethal accidents on Saturday, reported Dunya News.

A bus heading from Sialkot to Sangla Hill overturned on the way from Sukheki Road which resulted in 6 deaths and several were injured.

Two more accidents occurred near Sheikhupur where two people got killed in traffic accidents while twelve were injured severely.

Another bus overturned on Pattoki Road which was filled with wedding guests. The tragic accident took place on the route from Lahore to Chishtian. It claimed the life of a woman and several were injured.

A truck and passenger bus collided with one another near Sukheki in which one was killed and three people got injured.

Zero visibility was recorded in Punjab due to dense fog. The Motorway Road has been closed between Kala Shah Kaku to Pindi Bhattia and Faisalabad routes.

Meanwhile, the flight schedule at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore was severely affected by foggy climate. Many of the flights were delayed and rescheduled.
