Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan, Dr Farooq Sattar expressed his hopes over continuation of policies of General Sharif by the fresh COAS to fight terrorism.
The decision was taken by the premier after he returned from his two-day Turkmenistan visit.
Bajwa is the 16th Chief of the Army Staff of Pakistan who belongs to a regiment that has the honour of grooming another three army chiefs earlier.
