Summary Blast occurred during Jumma Prayer in the mosque, large number of worshipers were present
MOHMAND AGENCY (Dunya News) -- Atleat 20 killed and several injured after a blast occurred inside of a mosque in Batta Meena area of Mohmand Agency on Friday, reported Dunya News.
Large number of worshipers were present in the mosque during the time of blast. Impact of blast was so intense that 16 worshipers got martyred and 25 injured. Security forces rushed to the site instantly after the blast. Injured were shifted to Bajaur Agency and hospitals nearby.
Remote area was facing severe difficulties in the rescue operations due to difficulties in communications. Poltical administrations said it was a suicide bomb attack.
