KARACHI: (Dunya News) - Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah has on Friday suspended Malir SSP Rao Anwaar. Earlier, Rao Anwaar had arrested Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Khawaja Izharul Hassan from his home amid strong protest from MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar, Khawaja Izharul Hassan s family and the residents of the area, reported Dunya News.
Meanwhile, Sindh Cheif Minister (CM) Murad Ali Shah has ordered to release Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Khawaja Izharul Hassan. Talking to the media Murad Ali Shah said that SSP Rao Anwar will be punsihed if found guilty.
News come just after SSP Rao Anwar arrested the MQM s Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Khawaja Izharul Hassan who is also the Leader of the Opposition in Sindh Assembly.
Inspector General (IG) Sindh said that Khawaja Izharul will be released after legal requirements. Moreover, IG Sindh also removed DIG East Dr. Kamran Fazal.
