FAISALABAD (Dunya News) – A woman in Faisalabad set herself on fire after having a fight with her husband over pigeon shooting on Friday.
The incident occurred in couple’s home in Zulfiqar Colony.
26-year-old Rabia had objections on her husband’s interest in pigeon shooting. The couple had also indulged in an argument many times before.
Disappointed and frustrated this time, she doused herself with petrol and set herself ablaze.
Rabia was rushed to Allied hospital where she is under-treatment.
Doctors say that she has suffered 25% burns.
Police has recorded the woman’s statement and is investigating the matter.
