HYDERABAD: (Dunya News) – Education Board has allowed events at hockey stadium for Rs 5000 per day. The Astroturf has been left to be ruined in these fares and when the media highlighted this issue, reporters’ invitations were cancelled, reported Dunya News.

According to details, a circus was being held at hockey stadium in Hyderabad owned by Education board. The board allowed holding the circus at the stadium for just Rs 5000 per day while the Astroturf there worth millions of rupees has been left to be ruined.

When the media tried to highlight the issue, Education board employees manhandled them, upon which police arrested two of the employees.

However, Education Board Chairman Dr Muhammad Memon cancelled the permission to hold the circus at the stadium when the issue was highlighted by the media. The residents of Hyderabad also expressed anger over allowing events at the hockey stadium.
