Summary Saqiba committed suicide after principal halted her examination registration.
QUETTA (Dunya News) – The court on Tuesday has dismissed the bail pleas of all the named suspects in Saqiba suicide case and issued arrest warrant for accused college principal Abida Ghous.
The case was heard by additional session judge Haroon Agha in a local court in Quetta.
During the hearing, the accused clerk Mahmood and principal Abida Ghous submitted their bail pleas which were immediately rejected by the judge.
The security personnel arrested Mahmood and issued arrest warrant for the principal.
On February 2, a position holder and brilliant student Saqiba committed suicide after principal halted her examination’s registration.
Reportedly, the student had requested the principal, Abida Ghous to appoint a female invigilator for girls.
To add to the tragedy, late Saqiba left a note addressed to the principal which roughly stated that she would question her on the day of judgment for the injustice she had to face.
The principal had given authority to run all college affairs to her brother-in-law Mahmood, the clerk.
