Summary Law firm says Khan's London flat was sold in 2003, earnings transferred to Pak through legal channel
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Yousaf Islam Associates, the law firm dealing with finances of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan, wrote a letter to the party s leadership stating that all records related to Khan’s finances are with the firm adding that it is ready to respond to any queries in this regards as well, reported Dunya News on Sunday.
The firm mentioned in its letter that it is maintaing check and balance over Khan s financial aspects since the past 30 years, further stating that the PTI chief has never received any notice related to hiding assets or tax evasion.
Furthermore, Khan’s source of income includes earnings from cricket, advertisement whereas his London flat is also known to the firm. The flat was sold in 2003 and the amount received as a return was transferred to Pakistan through legal means.
