Summary Shabbir underwent angioplasty at NICVD; hospital sources say suspect now recovering
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Farhan Shabbir suffered heart attack while he was in custody, reported Dunya News on Sunday.
Shabbir was transferred to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) where he underwent angioplasty. Hospital sources indicate that the suspect is now recovering.
Farhan Shabbir was arrested on May 11, 2015, during a raid at MQM headquarters nine-zero over possession of arms.
