Summary Rain, dust and thunderstorm is expected at different places.

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) - Met Office has informed that a westerly wave is likely to enter Pakistan on Tuesday evening and may grip upper and central parts of the country for a couple of days.

Due to unstable weather conditions, rain, dust and thunderstorm is expected at different places of Khyber PakhtunKhwa, Islamabad, Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore and Faisalabad divisions) from Tuesday to Sunday.

Rain or thunderstorm with gusty winds also expected in FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during this week.

Wheat harvesting areas of potohar region and KP may receive some rain with the stormy winds from Tuesday to Sunday.

Chances of rain or dust thunderstorm also in cotton growing areas from Wednesday to Friday.

Farmers have been advised to stop sowing in Multan and Rahim Yar Khan for next two days as crusting of soil after rain will stop emergence of cotton seedlings.

Due to expected duststorm and rain, the day temperature may fall 3 -5°C in the plain areas during the period.
