Summary Multan-Sukkur motorway is part of the CPEC and will pass through major districts of Punjab and Sindh

SUKKUR (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif will be leaving for Sukkur today (Friday) where he will be laying the foundation for Multan-Sukkur motorway. The 393km road is part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

According to the Spokesperson PM House, Multan-Sukkur motorway will pass through major districts of Punjab and Sindh including Sukkur, Ghotki, Multan, Bahawalpur and Rahim Yar Khan.

The six-lane road will be winding from Sukkur to Rohri, Pannu Aqil, Ghotki, Guddu, Abaru and finally towards Multan.

54 bridges, 12 service stations, 10 rest areas, 11 interchanges, 10 fly-overs and 426 under-passes will be constructed on the highway from Multan to Sukkur.
