Summary Security forces arrested two militants involved in attacks on traffic police from District Central.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The law enforcement agencies conducted an operation in Karachi’s District Central on Thursday and arrested two terrorists involved in attacks on traffic police officials, Dunya News reported.

The arrested terrorists, Fahim-ul-Haq and Ubaid, belonged to banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and have confessed six separate attacks on traffic police officials during interrogation. Four officials were killed and five other were wounded in the attacks.

On the other hand, residents in Korangi area of the city caught two dacoits and subjected them to torture and then handed them over to police. Police sources said that both dacoits were wanted in several cases of robberies and other street crimes.

Police also carried out an operation in Mahmoodabad area and arrested an extortionist. Arms were also recovered from his possession.
