Summary Formation of judicial commission to probe into Panama Leaks will be delayed until CJ's return.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Chief Justice (CJ) of Pakistan Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali will be leaving for Turkey today (Saturday) for a 7 day visit to take part in the annual celebrations of the Turkish Constitutional Court, reported Dunya News.

CJ will be departing for Turkey from Islamabad’s Benazir Bhutto International Airport. Senior judge Justice Saqib Nisar will serve as the interim Chief Justice during Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali’s absence.

Sources indicate that the CJ will return from Turkey on May 1.

Due to CJ Jamali s absence, no further action will be taken regarding the matter of the letter written by the government for the formation of the judicial commission to probe into the Panama Leaks thus delaying the entire procedure up unti the CJ Jamali s return.
