Summary Chairman CDA suspended DG Water Supply and has ordered immediate repairs of the filtration plants.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Capital Development Authority s (CDA) negligence is playing on the lives of citizens of Islamabad as water of several filtration plants based in major sectors of the city Friday was found to be contaminated. Bacteria-contaminated water was also found in Minister Enclave’s filtration plant.
Chairman CDA took notice of the issue on report by Dunya News and took action against it by suspending Director-General (DG) Water Supply and has ordered immediate repairs of the filtration plants.
According to the report obtained by Dunya News, harmful bacteria was found in the water of filtration plants of several areas of Islamabad including sectors F-9,F-10, F-11, G-8, G-9, G-11, I-9 and Margala Town.
