PM Nawaz fulfills cancer patient's wish, meets him in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif on Friday met Anwarullah Afridi, who is battling with cancer, to fulfill his most cherished wish to meet the premier.

While warmly meeting with Anwarullah, PM Nawaz inquired about his health and spent some cheerful moments filled with motivation and appreciation.

He also asked Anwarullah about his family, hobbies and studies.



Anwarullah shared his feelings with PM Nawaz and said that his wish has come true after meeting him.

The Prime Minister while praying for Anwarullah’s recovery and good health stated that he is a source of inspiration and courage for all the people.

PM Nawaz directed for immediate compliance of Anwarullah s request and directed for arranging his meeting with Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, as desired by Anwarullah.

The Prime Minister prayed to Almighty Allah for his early recovery and encouraged Anwarullah to stand brave and courageous as God helps those who help themselves.



Prime Minister encouraged Anwarullah and said that he will surely defeat the disease.

Anwarullah shared his experience of foreign visit with PM Nawaz, particularly his meeting with Malala Yousafzai.

The Prime Minister said that granting wishes of such children change their lives a great deal.

Make A Wish Foundation work compels us to exceed the expectations of every kid and drives us to ensure that our attention has a far reaching impact, he added.

The PM has also said that for wish kids, just the act of making their wish come true can give them the courage and strength for fight against the disease as well as remaining optimistic.
