LAHORE (Web Desk) – Dunya News obtains report regarding ongoing investigation about a corrupt officer of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The officer used to provide high-profile criminals with sensitive information about NAB.
Faraas Hameed, investigation officer at NAB, leaked information about the inquiry against Rana Liaquat Ali. Hameed’s father Akram took an amount of rupees 0.5 million from President Tandianwala bar Chaudhary Ramzan as bribe after providing him required information. Ramzan was also curtailed by NAB while taking rupees 0.1 million as bribe.
Hameed also took rupees two hundred and twenty five thousand from Khalid Javed, a corrupt officer belonging to District administration, Faislabad, for providing details. Faraas Hameed is in the custody of NAB on physical remand as of now.
