ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Local court has handed over an alleged spy, Rustam Sidhwa possessing Pakistani identity card to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on a five-day physical remand, Dunya News reported Friday.
Sidhwa is brother-in-law of National Assembly (NA) Member Asfandyar Bhandara.
Sidhwa was presented before senior civil judge Abdul Ghafoor Kakar s court. The investigation agency stated that the criminal acquired Pakistani nationality in 1982. Indian spy was arrested on Thursday after his pre-arrest bail expired.

FIA takes custody of the alleged culprit after court hearing
On Thursday it was reported that an Indian citizen who obtained an identification card illegally was arrested by the Federal Investigation Agency in the federal capital.
The agency stated that area of the investigation should be expanded to include officials from the Passport and Immigration sector.
Agency’s official stated that the alleged culprit was arrested under the Foreigners Act. He went on to say that MNA Bhandara is also a complainant in the case.
Sidhwa has been residing in Rawalpindi cantonment area for more than three decades along with wife, daughter of late businessman MP Bhandara.
Sources said that the accused developed differences with brother-in-law after death of MP Bhandara.
It should be noted here that renowned English writer Bapsi Sidhwa is sister of late MP Bhandara.
