Summary KP govt has implemented the Essential Services Act in all the hospitals of the province
PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has on Monday implemented the Essential Services Act in all the hospitals of the province, reported Dunya News.
In order to fix the problem of the protesting medical staff members, KP government has implemented the Essential Services Act, according to which the employees at the hospitals cannot go on strike.
The Health department has issued the instructions to all the directors of the subordinate departments. The Essential Services Act has been implemented in the province upon the orders of Peshawar High Court.
The doctors and paramedics staff had announced strike throughout the provincial hospitals from February 9 but now they won’t be able to act upon their announcement.
