KARACHI (Dunya News) – Fourteen policemen in Karachi got sacked from their offices over corruption on Thursday, reported Dunya News.

According to details, Deputy Inspector General (DIG) East Zone Kamran Fazal said that he cannot allow any kind of corruption in the police department which is why as many as fourteen police officers and constables have been sacked.

The sacked policemen include two Inspectors, two Sub Inspectors, four Assistant Sub Inspectors, two head constables and four constables. According to sources, these policemen were using a secret cell inside Karachi airport for illegal activities including receiving bribe money.

Police took action and investigated the case after getting complaints and sacked the policemen as they proved to be guilty of being involved in corruption.
