Summary Saudi Foreign Minister discussed mutual relations, Mid East situation with PM Nawaz, Raheel Sharif
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister (FM) Adel Bin Ahmed al-Jubeir on Thursday met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif and discussed mutual relations and the situation prevailing in Middle East, reported Dunya News.
Foreign Advisor Sartaj Aziz welcomed the honourable guest at Noor Khan Airbase. Saudi ambassador to Pakistan was also present on this occasion.
Saudi FM met General Raheel Sharif at General Head-Quarters (GHQ) according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) department. Adel bin Ahmed al-Jubeir appreciated Pakistan’s role in war against terror and said that Pakistan’s role in the region’s stability is exemplary.
After meeting COAS, Saudi FM met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at PM House. He discussed Pak-Saudi relations and the situation in the Middle East with Nawaz. Saudi FM also took Prime Minister into confidence over 34-country alliance. The meeting was also attended by Advisor on Regional Security Nasir Janjua, Sartaj Aziz and Tariq Fatemi.
