Summary Meeting attended by Finance, Interior Ministers, Advisers on Foreign Affairs and National Security
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad on Thursday to discuss issues pertaining to national and regional security, reported Dunya News.
Meeting was attended by Finance, Interior Ministers and Advisers on Foreign Affairs and National Security. It was attended by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan, Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, Special Assistant to the PM Tariq Fatemi, National Security Advisor retired Lt. General Nasser Khan Janjua and Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhary.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a high-level meeting in Islamabad to review security situation in the country, Dunya News reported.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Advisor to PM on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz, COAS General Raheel Sharif, and Director General ISI attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar briefed the participants regarding law and order situation in the country.
The participants deliberated upon regional security, especially Afghan situation and Pak-Afghan relations.
The meeting also discussed implementation of National Action Plan, progress in operation Zarb-e-Azb and issue of extension in Rangers’ powers in Sindh.
