KALAM (Dunya News) – Army Chief General Raheel Sharif reached Swat to attend Kalam Festival on Monday. General Sharif said that sacrifices of soldiers of Pakistan Army made it possible to liberate terrorists. He assured that enemies of the peace will not be allowed to enter the area again, reported Dunya News.
General Raheel Sharif appreciated the efforts of organizers of Kalam Festival and declared restoration of peace to the land as ‘fruit of sacrifices’ of soldiers.
Army Chief said that terrorism had ruled over the land for a few years before Pakistan Army, civil forces and local people drove out the terrorists from Malakand division. He said that after peace is restored in the area, tourism will flourish.
General Raheel Sharif inspected paragliding, horse riding and acrobatics of motorcyclists and praised the performances.
