Fraud cases: NAB Punjab detains seven Customs officials

LAHORE (Dunya News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab on Monday arrested seven high-ranking Customs officials in Lahore for causing Rs 185 million losses to the national exchequer and misuse of their authority.

The arrested officers include Additional Collector Amir Rasheed and former assistant collectors.

According to sources, Additional Collector Karachi allegedly committed fraud in 2003 when he was serving as Deputy Director Lahore.

The accused will be presented in the accountability court on Tuesday.
