Summary Dr Asim Hussain appointed Shahbaz Aslam as Deputy General Manager HRD
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Another instance of corruption of Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Sindh Dr Asim Hussain has emerged as he appointed Shahbaz Aslam, who posses qualification of B-Com, as Deputy General Manager of Human Resource Department while a company of wife of Shahbaz Aslam has been awarded contracts worth millions of rupees on pretext of human resource training, reported Dunya News.
Company of wife of Shahbaz Aslam, Orange Touch, was given contracts worth millions of rupees on yearly basis. On the other hand, Rafiq Awan Enterprises were given contracts for providing third party casual workers. Former Federal Petroleum Minister Asim Hussain had given Shabaz Aslam a job contract in 2010.
Dr Asim Hussain appointed Shahbaz Aslam Deputy General of Human Resource Department as a grade 7 officer. The appointment broke all protocol and rules. Shahbaz Aslam has fled in fear of investigation of corruption cases.
