LAHORE: (Dunya News) – After Ayesha Mumtaz, Director Punjab Food Authority (PFA), now another ‘Dabang Ayesha’ has come forward. Additional Commissioner Punjab Revenue Authority Ayesha Ranjha has on Thursday sealed 7 boutiques of big brands in Lahore over non-payment of taxes, reported Dunya News.
Punjab Revenue Authority officials have also picked an ‘Ayesha’ to fill up the treasury. Ayesha Ranjha says, “If these boutiques and parlors are earning hundreds of thousands of rupees then it is also their duty to pay services tax”. She said that no one will be allowed to evade taxes.
The citizens of Lahore are happy, however. Whether Ayesha Mumtaz or Ayesha ranjha, as long as they are working, it’s good, they say.
