FBR seeks two months transaction record from banks

Summary FBR has directed all the banks to submit the details till September 15.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Saturday has sought transaction record of more than Rs50,000 from all the banks that has been made in the past two months, Dunya News reported.

According to details, names, identity card numbers, quantity of transactions have also been required by the FBR.

Besides this the record of those who are not paying withholding tax will be checked and inquiry will be made that whether that money is being used for money laundering or any other illegal activity.

FBR has directed all the banks to submit the details till September 15.
