Summary The Joint Investigation Team on Attock bomb blast consists of intelligence and police officials
ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – A Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has on Monday been formed for the Attock bomb blast, in which 20 including Home Minister Punjab Col. (r) Shuja Khanzada had embraced martyrdom, and the JIT has already started working. The JIT comprises of officials from intelligence and police, reported Dunya News.
According to details, the JIT includes officers from Military Intelligence (MI), Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), anti-terrorism department, police and Special Branch.
The team will do geo-fencing of the area. Data will be collected from within the 100-meter radius of the area of mobile phone calls 3 hours before the blast and 2 hours after it. Team will present its report directly to Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
