LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Recruitment tests for the hiring of 1100 constables in police continued on Saturday. Some of the boys misbehaved with the ladies after the running test. DIG suspended 5 police officials including a Sub-Inspector (SI), reported Dunya News.

According to details, 7300 candidates applied for 1100 police constable posts in Lahore. Measurements of the chest and height were taken in the first phase. In the second phase, there was a running test of 1.5 kilometers. For men, the set limit for this running test was 7 minutes while for women, it was 10 minutes.

After the test, most of the candidates seemed tired and some of them lied down. It was this when some of the boys started misbehaving with the women, creating disorder. Police intervened to settle the situation but the women kept cursing the boys.

Taking notice of the mismanagement during the recruitment tests, DIG Operations suspended 5 officials including an SI and issued a show-cause notice to SHO Chohang.
