Summary Traders have announced a 36-member Supreme Council for future decisions as well
LAHORE (Dunya News) – The trader community has united once again and is all set to protest against imposition of withholding tax nationwide on August 18, Dunya News reported.
According to details, various groups of traders held a joint press conference at Federal Chamber of Commerce in which Khalid Pervez, Khawaja Shafiq, Naeem Mir, Haji Pervez, Ashraf Bhatti and other prominent trade leaders participated.
The trade leaders announced a countrywide protest against imposition of withholding tax on banking transactions. On this occasion, it was also announced that a 36-member Supreme Council will be formed for traders’ unity and future decisions.
