ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – Self-proclaimed leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Tanveer Zamani has finally spoken up. She said on Monday that rumors about her marriage with Co-chairman PPP Asif Ali Zardari were spread as part of a conspiracy. She said that Tehseen Javed Siddiqui is her husband while Zardari is leader and a brother to her, reported Dunya News.
In a press conference in Islamabad, Tanveer Zamani said that her only relationship with Asif Zardari is that of a leader and his follower. She denied the rumors about her being married to the former President.
Zamani said that the rumors about her marriage with Asif Zardari were spread in order to create differences between Asif Ali Zardari and his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
“Zardari raised the slogan of ‘Pakistan Khappay’ and that is why he is my leader. I don’t need any certificates of being loyal to the PPP”, she added.
