Imran Farooq murder case: British investigators complete questioning Moazam Ali

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) –Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said on Wednesday that the British officials investigating Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM) leader Imran Farooq murder case have completed investigation from one of the key suspects Moazam Ali and that the access to the second suspect will be granted tomorrow (Thursday).

In his media conference earlier, he said the decision to give access to the third suspect will be made after Eid. He said Britain has not demanded handing over of the suspects yet.

He told that the British Metropolitan Police’s team is present in Pakistan and that they together with Pakistani counterpart have completed investigation from first suspect.

The federal minister said that Britain is only being given access to the arrested suspects, adding that no demand of transfer of suspects has been made.

He told the media that the investigation is proceeding at a satisfactory phase, adding that the government wants the culprits to be apprehended.
