GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – At least one wanted terrorist was killed in an encounter with police here on Wednesday after armed terrorists entered Mini Stadium, Dunya News reported.
According to the police sources, the police surrounded the stadium after a number of gunmen including the terrorist wanted in various militancy related crimes entered it.
The terrorists opened fire at the police soon after and one of them was killed in crossfire. The police are still looking for the other one.
The police further said that the slain terrorist likely belongs to a banned terrorist outfit and was wanted in various criminal acts including militancy.
The police cordoned off the areas surrounding the stadium and summoned backup contingents.
