(Web Desk) – A deadly combination of sweltering heat waves, load shedding and lack of substantial rainfall has left the city of Karachi high and dry.

According to the latest figures, more than 750 people have succumbed to heat in the metropolitan city and countless others are suffering a variety of ailments including heat strokes due to the rising temperature.

To assist the government in this regard, even Pakistan Army and Navy have set up heat stroke relief centers throughout the city to control the situation.

Meanwhile Pakistani Twitterati have taken notice of the predicament that their countrymen are facing and have started trending #HelpHeatStrokeVictims

From advice on how to avoid heat strokes to faciltating people with addresses, tweeps have taken to the social media to promote awareness:

Army has always been on the forefront of all relief efforts that are conducted in times of trial. Highlighting the efforts of the outfit, a tweep thanked the Army for organizing heat stroke relief centres throughout the city:
