Summary As India goes mad over CPEC project, our longstanding friend China stands firm with Pakistan

LAHORE: (Dunya News, Web Desk) – India has simply gone mad in its enmity with Pakistan ever since the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) agreement has been signed between China and Pakistan. Proving its hatred, India once again presented a resolution in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to impose sanctions on Pakistan. However, the resolution was vetoed by Pakistan’s longstanding friend China, killing the Indian conspiracy in its bud, reported Dunya News.

According to the details, India had presented the resolution calling for sanction on Pakistan in view of Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi’s release from the court. India maintained that Lakhvi’s release was violation of UN’s resolution.

China vetoes the resolution, maintaining that India didn’t provide enough proofs and evidence against Lakhvi and the Indian propaganda over his release is baseless.
