Summary The Ruet-e-Hilal committee ruled no credible testimony was received
(Web Desk) – The month of Ramazan will begin on Friday across Pakistan as the central moon sighting authority, the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee ruled that authentic testimonies of moon sighting were not received from across the country.
The Committee held its central moon sighting session in Karachi while zonal committees held sessions in all provincial capitals. The Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi committees submitted their reports to the central committees saying no sighting testimonies were received.
The Metrological department had earlier forecasted a low chance of moon sighting.
Saudi Arabia, Middle East and many other countries are beginning Ramazan tomorrow (Thursday).
